Cordogan Clark & Associates designed the architectural language of MB Financial Lincolnwood in a manner reminiscent of early 1900's Prairie Style banks designed by Louis Sullivan. Sullivan used massing and intricate ornament in his buildings to celebrate Midwestern life. Here this architectural language is generalized, abstracted, and adapted to current technology. This creates a strong, recognizable public presence for MB Financial.
The interior design, with its high-ceilinged lobby and generous accents of dark green marble and cherry wood, reinforces the exterior design and conveys a sense of financial stability normally associated with a much larger facility.
